Stained Glass Cross

by Anita Page

  1. Cut a cross from stiff dark paper.
  2. Cut small shapes from the cross with a hole punch and scissors. Fold the paper if needed.
  3. Put a piece of white tissue paper, larger than the cross, on several layers of newspaper. Fill a spray bottle with water and moisten the tissue paper with a fine mist to make it damp not wet!
  4. Sprinkle drops of food coloring on the damp tissue paper. Let it dry.
  5. Put a thin layer of glue on the back of the cross. Lay the cross on the tissue paper. Trim the edges.
  6. Punch a hole at the top of the cross, tie on string, and hand the cross in a window.
